Session 9: Reclaiming Your Needs β Self-Care, Inner Nourishment & Receiving
So many of us learned to suppress our needs β
to care for others, to stay strong, to never be a burden.
In this session, we reclaim the hidden longings within:
not just the need to rest, to be held, to feel safe β
but the radical permission to receive without guilt.
In Part 1: The Longing That Stayed Hidden, we explore how unmet needs live in the body β as tension, hunger, loneliness, or drive. We begin the tender process of listening to what weβve been too proud, scared, or distracted to hear.
In Part 2: Receiving vs. Hyper-Independence, we examine the defense of self-reliance. How our inability to receive love, help, or care keeps us stuck in isolation. We practice softening and opening β not from weakness, but from courage.
In Part 3: Guilt, Boundaries & Adult Nourishment, we dive into the shame that surrounds asking, the guilt that comes with receiving, and the boundaries needed to protect nourishment. We explore what mature, grounded self-care really looks like.
This session is a homecoming.
Not to more doing, but to deeper allowing.
Not to strength alone β but to soft, sustainable wholeness.
