Session 2: Learning to Feel – From Defense to Deep Presence

What if feeling wasn't the problem β€” but the path?

In this session, we explore the tender and often terrifying art of feeling.
Not analyzing. Not fixing. Not escaping.
But staying β€” with what is.

  • In Part 1, we uncover the Three Layers of Defense we all build to avoid pain: fear, false hope, and denial. These are not flaws β€” they are survival strategies. But they also keep us distant from ourselves. Recognizing these patterns is the first step in reclaiming our aliveness.

  • In Part 2, we practice Tonglen β€” a powerful and poetic method to breathe with discomfort instead of resisting it. We learn to make space for what we've long rejected. To soften, rather than fight.

  • In Part 3, we move toward radical acceptance β€” not resignation, but the deep exhale of coming home to what’s true. We discover that real connection with ourselves begins where the fight ends.

This session is about re-learning the language of your body,
the truth in your chest,
the quiet wisdom that arises when you finally stop running
